Sophie from Holland wanted a cheerful and welcoming invitation for her 30th birthday. Having this idea in mind, I collaged and illustrated various images to represent the birthday party's venue (in a cosy pub), time and date. The clothing line is a striking element in the invitation. It refers to the name of the place "De Hollandsche Tuyn" where Sophie held her party. The pubs name "Hollandsche Tuyn" means "Dutch Garden / Backyards" written in old Dutch and in an old Dutch backyards clothing lines are very common.
