Com este projeto pretendo potenciar as valências e acrescentar valor à orla marítima de Vila do Conde.
Após o reconhecimento do local, pude concluir que o seu sistema de sinalética e orientação poderia ser melhorado, destacando assim, e tornando mais apelativo, os seus pontos de interesse cultural, e paisagístico da cidade.
A minha missão passará por criar uma série de sistemas que envolvam e proporcionem momentos únicos ao longo da orla marítima, e com isto aumentar a afluência de visitantes a este lado da cidade. Para isso a criação de uma linguagem gráfica que sustente este trabalho, torna-se num elemento fulcral para o bom funcionamento do mesmo.
Influênciado pela sua actividade pescatória e seus limites marítimos, utilizei duas linguagens distintas que comunicassem entre elas, criando assim uma vertente institucional, presente maioritariamente na costa fluvial e uma mais irreverente na costa Atlântica. Desde os materiais, à dinâmica dos sistemas de informação, bem como toda a linguagem criada nas intervenções feitas ao longo de toda a costa, poderemos, através da cor e do seu design, encontrar uma harmonia em toda esta orla marítima.
A vontade e empenho empregue na criação deste projeto, tem como principal objetivo servir o público na sua vertente informativa e orientacional, sempre com o intuito e missão de provocar o regresso de todos que visitam a cidade pela primeira vez.
With this project intend to potentiate the valences and add value to the seafront of Vila do Conde.After the recognition of the place, I could conclude that their signage system and guidance could be improved, making it more appealing, their points of cultural interest and the landscape of the city.My mission is to create a series of systems that involve and provide unique moments along the seafront, and with this increase the number of visitors to this side of town. The creation of a graphic language that supports this work, becomes a key element for the proper functioning.Influenced by the fishing activity of the city and its maritime boundaries, we used two different languages to communicate between them, creating an institutional aspect, present mainly in the river coast and a more irreverent on the Atlantic coast. Since the materials, the dynamics of information systems, as well as all the language created in interventions along the entire coast, you can, through color and design, find a harmony in all of this seafront.The will and commitment used in the creation of this project, aims to serve the public in its informative and orientational aspects, always with the purpose and mission of provoking the return of all who visit the city for the first time.
The creation of this system aims to add informative valences to its primary value, the orientation. For this , the solution passed through a dynamic system consisting of removable plates which are mainly intended to be changed by orange plates to cause contrast, becoming evident and clearly distinguished from all the others. These will only be exposed for a certain periods of time dependent on the time that the event will stay active.They all have an identification number so that the staff of the City Council, know the exact system where they need to go to change the signs in question.We can also read the Qr code, which our phones, which will lead to an application that inform us about the distances and time , starting from its location , that will take us to get to the points of interest.
