MOTH. MODULAR CARPET

I made my first experiments at a school project. MOTH is a modular, growing carpet. Inspired by knitted structure. The full carpet is modular, consist of lines with separate elements that can be stuck together variously. You can combine as many elements as you want and also play with the colors. I used a non-woven material, recycled felt because it has been translated to a more cozy material for your indoor navigation comfort. If I use 100% natural felt is would be better because it is fireproof, antifouling and non skid, has also been optimised for everyday use. The size of the carpet covering your floor is determined, by the customization process undertaken by the uses. And the customer can choose elements in number and color and creating his own carpet.
