Mural intervention for the First International Biennial of Contemporary Art of Agüimes in El Alpendre del Arte (Local Leisure, Culture and Restoration). This work -which aim is to find a union between the old Canarian buildings and Urban Art, is born by means of the most minimalist geometric study. After taking a close look at the enviroment surrounding the house, it is clear that the best way to emphasize the building is by cover it in color -highlighting it this way and taking it on a special role.
Intervención mural para la I Bienal Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo de Agüimes en el Alpendre* del Arte (Local de Ocio, Cultura y Restauración). Por medio del estudio geométrico más minimalista nace está obra en la que se busca encontrar un nexo de unión respetuoso entre las antiguas edificaciones canarias y el Arte Urbano. Se realiza un estudio del entorno y se concluye que la vivienda queda oculta por lo que la rodea y que por medio de una intervención de color destacará más, consiguiendo de está forma que el Teatro más pequeño de Canarias sobresalga y cobre protagonismo.
(*) Alpendre: En la Cultura Canaria, era una antigua construcción que se usaba para dar de comer a los animales.
Aquí mugían las vacas
y se derramó sudor
del bueyero y labrador
pa' que no estuvieran flacas.
