Title: Spring is sprouting

With time, a plant starts to grow. 

The spring season is the time when nature starts to wake up after the long winter month and I was inspired to capture that. 

Pencil sketching and colour pencils.

I roughly sketched the outlines and then coloured it with colour pencils. 

Drawing is out of my comfort zone and I believe this illustration could be improved by working more on the shades. 

Title: Trees in different seasons

As time goes by, different seasons pass by, which means that the colours of a tree changes. 

I was inspired by the nature.

I drew the tree roughly and then coloured it with colour pencils. 

I believe I could improve this image by draw it more in detail. I would also try to use another media next time, maybe watercoulor or crayons.

Title: Spring is here

As time goes by, different seasons pass by. Now is spring here and that means, lots of flowers. 

I was inspired by the nature and all the flowers that are sprouting now in spring. 

Illustrator. Watercolour pencil brush. 

I experimented with the paintbrush, tried different colours and adjusted the opacity. 

I wanted to try a new technique I have not used before so making this image was a good way for me to develop my Illustrator skills.

Title: Choices, chances, changes

As time goes by you have to make choices, take chances and make changes. Time often means change. Nothing lasts forever and with time

I was inspired by my necklace with the words choices, chances, changes engraved. The quote "You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change" inspires me in life.

I put the necklace on a glass table, used the light from the window as light. I edited the photo I Photoshop, brightened it up, added som contrast and adjusted the colour balance. 

I like this close-up of my necklace, the blurry background and how the word "choices" is in focus.

Title: Time flies

Time flies, just like birds. I chose to sketch sequences of a bird flying. 

Time goes by so quickly nowadays and the saying "time flies" makes me think of birds.

I looked at birds and photos of birds to get an idea of the sequences and then started to do some roughly sketches.

Title: The life-cycle of a plant

With time the life-cycle of growth is passing.

Nature is my inspiration. I was walking past a bush and noticed these flowers in different stages of growth.

Photography Nikon D5300 F.5,6, 1/125 ISO 100.

I edited the photo I Photoshop, brightened it up, added som contrast and adjusted the colours. 

I like the outcome of this image since the serie of plants successfully shows the passing of time.

With time the life-cycle of growth is passing. After I had taken a photo of the plant, I wanted to try a different technique. I decided to draw the plant.

I looked at the previous photo to get an idea of how to draw the image. I sketched the outlines and then coloured it with colour pencils. 

It's just a rough sketch of the plant. I could have drawn the image more in detail by adding more shades to make it look better.

Title: Skyline sunset

As time is passing, the sun goes down and the sky is changing.

I love the way the sky changes and was inspired to capture the beautiful sky and sunset.

Title: As the sun goes down

As time is passing, the sun goes down and the sky is changing. Sunsets never look the same. And they are so beautiful. As I drew a sketch of a skyline sunset I thought I would capture it with my camera as well.

I love the way the sky changes and was inspired to capture the beautiful sky and sunset over Kangaroo Point.

Edited in Photoshop. I adjusted the curves and the contrast.

I wish that I had taken more photos to capture the sequences of the sky, which would have shown more stages of the sunset.
