Portland House is the first bar to be opened by Welbeck Abbey Brewery, a traditional real ale brewery situated on one of England’s finest country estates, Welbeck Abbey. The brewery chose the bustling Ecclesall Road area of Sheffield to launch their micropub and we are very excited to be part of the brewery’s move into the pub trade.

Welbeck Abbey Brewery is steeped in heritage and so it made sense to pull this through into the new brand. A hand-crafted logo was illustrated, along with an entire typographic set. The beautiful and intricate supporting pattern is a nod to the existing Welbeck Brewery logo, helping to maintain a connection between the two brands.
