Blond and Noir Chair feature U-shape cut outs located on the ends of the dowels. The cut outs perform both as a structural component and a visually striking detail. They provide a stronger joint than traditional dowel chairs due to the increased long grain glue surface. Noir chair achieves a lighter appearance both physically and visually due to the webbed seating surface.
