Style Guide | Kent State University

This project was completed for the Kent State University website.  When a company publishes content, a style guide is most likely needed.  This style guide includes voice and tone, editorial guidelines, and directions for key content types and formats.
The first step was to create a message architecture for the website, which is
an actionable list of attributes or qualities that your communications
need to use.  This took plenty of brainstorming and the key was to fully understand which type of personality the school was trying to give off to its audience.  I came up with a list of attributes that accurately defined Kent State's communication goals and created a message architecture that revolved around the word Infield.
Editorial Guidelines section:  This section is where company styles were documented, and tweaks were made to the tone of the messages being given to the audience and the rationale for them.
