Overview:
Hyperdrive Hobby is a hobbies shop in Brunei selling parts and accessories for multi-rotator hobbyists. The client is a big star trek and the name was derived from one of the terms used in the show.
Project:
The project was to create a Visual Identity and Website to best represent the brand.
This project was done under Destine Digital.
The Process:
The client had no existing identity and website yet so I had to start from scratch. I based the concept for the brand on the multi-rotator (drones) market it targets and the futuristic traits that hyperdrive represents.
This option uses the concept of 2 drones racing and forming a yin yang.
This option was NASA inspired. It still keeps the motion of racing, coming of a circular or curved motion.
The chosen logo uses the letter H, a top view of the drone and a landing mat. It still conveys that race-y futuristic vibe thanks to the motion lines.
