Proposal to create a 3D space in my college. We were asked to communicate through an intervention a possible notion of "What is Design?" to the new students.
The concept of the design is based on the idea of "Playful". An idea of design can start from a lot of possibilities and the process of work can be exciting and playful until the final result. Hence the title "Enjoy the process, love the ending".
Since the installation can be seen from the top floor, I had the idea to create a lettering based on the lego. The design of the letters was designed to be readable from two perspectives.
The installation interacts with the public, since the objects scattered around can be moved or used to create drawings in the background and then, create new compositions. The idea here, is based on a concept of a work incomplete, where the spontaneity of the public will finish the design. In this way I think the purpose of this artwork is complete since the message is communicated in a memorable and effective way.
