The brief within our Engineering specialization was to make a well-functioning prototype of a new so-called “enchanted object”.  The result is the ChillBuddy. The ChillBuddy consists of two parts: a ring that you slide over a bottle (of wine) before putting it in the fridge, connected to a small remote-controlled device. The cooling process can be followed via the lights in this portable device, which flash when the bottle has reached the required optimum temperature, telling you that it’s time to enjoy a perfectly chilled glass of wine.
