Ora

Ora is a sculptural table clock that recalls the bowl through which the Oracle used to predict the future in Ancient Greece. His hands appeared as three magnetized perfect spheres disconnected from the core, gliding onto the reflective surface of the metal. Moving at an invisible but relentless pace, the three magnets can be detached from the surface in an impossible gesture like stopping time. 
Ora is designed for NOV Gallery and was showcased at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week 2016.

Fate was the inevitable course of events slowly dispensed to us. Our selfawareness comes together with the prize of being able to govern destiny and the luxury of controlling our own time.
