Limited Edition for Christofle

Frisson is inspired by the pure and subltle form that the raw material can take. The design reinterprets the image of waves and ripples produced touching the surface of water, like it was liquid silver.

Posata, is intended as a bridge between tradition modernity, where each piece has been shaped by the gestures of using it. The result details - bevels, notches and grooves - become subtle decorations that give a refined and contemporary appeal.
During the occasion of Maison et Objet in Paris, we were invited to dive into the history of silversmith by producing a series of cutlery for this fifth collaboration between ECAL/Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne and Maison Christofle.
Six projects, including ours two, were selected from the students of the Master program in Advance Studies fro Luxury and Craftsmanship to be developed and prototyped. Using new technologies - including metal 3D printing - and expertise from the company's artisans, these sets of forks, knives and spoons have been produced in record time while maintaining an exemplary level of finish.
