I've always been fond of Dolphins ever since I was a child. I remember having a book all about animal species and I one day attempted to copy the illustration of the dolphin because I thought it was so beautiful. I'd pretty much forgotten about this love of dolphins until I set down to draw this one and was reminded of what drew me to them in the first place. They seem always to be happy and playful with such grace and power. I'm blessed to now live in a place where I can walk out and see Dolphins fishing near the local beaches but always their environment is threatened by the acts of humans.
The Welsh Government is currently looking into allowing Scallop Dredging in this area, an act that is severely damaging to the sea bed and local sea life, flora and fauna. Sign the petition against allowing Scallop Dredging!
