The poster was designed for the 31st Fajr international music festival, Iran’s most prominent music festival, employing musical elements as well as those related to sound, frequency and recording. It also depicts two ancient instruments Kamancheh and Barbat and the main theme is inspired by a Persian old musical notation called Igha (Iqa). The combination of vermilion and gold mostly applied in Iranian pottery and carpets gives us a sense of the mysterious, felt while listening to Persian music.
