This wine honors the date when the first charter was given to Murça by King Sancho II. These documents written by monarchs were used in Portugal whose aim was to establish a County and regulate the administration, duties and privileges. Foral de Murça is a gift of nature that benefits some essential factors like topography, climate, soil, grape varieties and the "know-how" of men.
