Openbay user onboarding re-design

Primary UX/UI designer in charge of redesign of core business flow to make process of requesting car repair more user-friendly, intuitive, and streamlined. Researched competitors and explored existing experience to identify areas where flow could be improved.
Mapped out flow diagrams for all service items, as well as overall end-to-end user flow from entering ZIP code/vehicle info to creating an account. Combed through both in order to determine opportunities for flow improvement.
Did extensive brainstorming and sketching to come up with various new ways to progress user through flow. Competitor research and flow analysis taken into account when coming up with these new ideas.
Created detailed wireframes for four different flows.
Added UI component in order to create realistic Invision prototypes and test 3 different onboarding flows plus the existing flow against each other. Multiple rounds of user testing and iterations brought us to a finalized design direction. Once finalized, I put together a highly detailed spec doc and worked closely with the development team to ensure new flow was coded exactly as designed.
Throughout this process, I remained cognizant of how the experience would translate to mobile views. I also expanded the entire flow to work for the internal, logged in customer experience.
