Bluetooth Speaker

Bluetooth speakers are now common in various features. Although digital signals have a limit to transmit analog data, Bluetooth speakers have become a very common thing in an effort to minimize the difference from real sound. As a result, Bluetooth speakers with various designs and different concepts are being released in the market. Bluetooth speakers are neither an innovation nor a novelty any more, but an ordinary product that allows us to have the beauty of convenience. At this point, the importance of design should be emphasized more on the basis of significantly improved technology

Back to the origin.

Sound is basically analog. Even if the sound is reproduced through a speaker unit that operates with an electrical signal, it is finally an analog signal that is heard through the vibration of the air. Although Bluetooth speakers are a comprehensive combination of digital technologies, there is an analogue at the root of their existence.Through this project, I would like to reinterpret the digital technology into the analog sense of design.

Leather has been used throughout the human history. It is a material that has been cut and trimmed by the world’s first human beings, with their dull tools and hands. Although technology and tools have been developed incredibly, leather cannot become itself without the analogue process of human works. The leather lets you feel the warmth and the greatness of the time that has wrote the entire history.

Aluminum is very light and highly resistant to corrosion, yet easy to process because it is relatively soft compared to other metal materials. As smelting and processing technologies have been greatly developed, Aluminum is being processed into various shapes and it makes product designs outstanding with delicate post-processing skills including various surface treatments.

The buttons are embroidered on the leather as a design point and help users to operate easily with their sense of touch.

The AUX, Micro USB and Micro SD slots are hidden on the side, so the ports do not harm the design.
