This ergonomic extinguisher is the result of a big research about the use of the current fire extinguishers. We have analyzed how the users use the extinguisher without previous knowledge, and most of them don't know how to use it properly, making them adopt really bad positions.

REBA and RULA methods have been used in order to analyze the different postures taken along the sequence use. We want to redesign some aspects of the product to make its use easier and more intuitive.

The sign with the instructions about how to use the fire extinguisher is redesign following the use sequence of the new product.

Once the prototype has been made, it is possible to analyze the new postures that the user adopts with the new fire extinguisher. The results obtained are much better that the ones of the current extinguisher. 

The ergonomics of the product have improved.
