Storybook: The Goose that laid the Golden Eggs

Different hand gestures and facial expressions of my main character.
It is a countryman who has a farm.
This is actually a printed storybook on an 8x8 inches paper, basically a tabloid size (spread).

I created the illustrations in Adobe Illustrator and transferred it to Adobe InDesign for printing layout.
So, this is the cover design for my storybook entitled, "The Goose that laid the Golden Eggs", by Aesop. It is a good-read for the kids because of the moral lesson that it teaches.
Once upon a time, there was a countryman who possessed the most wonderful goose you can imagine.
Everyday when he visits the nest , the goose had laid a beautiful, glittering, golden egg.
The countryman took the eggs to the market and soon began to get rich.
But it was not long when he grew impatient because the goose gave him only single golden egg a day. He was not getting rich fast enough.
Then one day, after he has finished counting his money, the idea came to him that he could get all the golden eggs at once.
It is by killing the goose and cutting it open.
But when the act was done, not even a single golden egg did he find. His precious goose is now gone.
The countryman wept and regretted what he have done.
