She is in High School
The project "She Is In High School" reveals the discrepancy between the image of fashion models we see in magazines and their actual place in life. The girls participated in the project are all professional models and are only 15-17 years old. The goal of the project is to make social commentary on the fact that there are very young girls being used for fashion and advertising, setting wrong standards for the viewer. Setting those standards for many women, the fashion industry employs the looks of underaged girls, who they are not fully women yet. The girls themselves are being confused and misled as they have to act as grown ups and pretend to be living successful, luxurious life.
