Mobile homepage: For my own personal design, I worked on the user interface for the mobile version of the homepage. The top showcase area features rotating images that correlate with a tag, in this case 'comfort'. On the right is a snapshot of the featured projects gallery.
Cover design: I designed the cover of the book taking inspiration from the original Family of Man project. I wanted to add a nod to the original book by using primary colors and square geometric shapes. To make it more contemporary and fitting with the rest of the project, I used only five hand-drawn boxes and reduced them to simple outlines. In addition I wanted to represent the concepts of diversity and togetherness and so overlapped the shapes to create a single graphic that was obviously made up of different parts.
Book production: I directed two designers, Lyndsey Jimenez and Ambra Tieszen in the design of the book. My main task was overseeing the final typographic landscape and production before sending it to print at Edition One Books.
Dimensions: 7" x 7"  |  Printing: hardback with dustcover and bound with grey linen, silver foil-stamped title, super smooth, uncoated paper.
