Singaporean legal firm Shook Lin & Bok desired a corporate capabilities brochure
that would be both visually restrained and impart a sense of their long,
rich history which began the same year as the Russian revolution (1917).
I provided a design that utilized a red, black and white colour palette, along with a
sensible, sophisticated serif typeface. Custom photography was shot on-location
using a photographer from the United States. During printing of the brochure,
a double hit of black provided the glossy paper stock with a deep, rich black
quality that evoked an extra sense of luxuriousness and status to the brochure.
