This was a particularly tough project as ALL the photos I was provided were out of focus!!! Of course, they had lost color and were generally in bad shape as the images had been taken during a 1978 family holiday.
The client was adamant about wanting to do a photo book so away I went! Because of the focus issues, I could not use any of the photos as cover or blown up as large images in the book. As a result, I relied heavily on using various art images I sourced through clip art services on the web. All in all, a pretty successful result!
I even found artwork for the actual programme for the Grand Prix in Monaco run when they were there so used that as background on one page!

This was actually a postcard. I found the image depicting the seal of the Queen's Horsemen so added that for interest
a bit of searching on the web rewarded me with the front cover of the Grand Prix of Monaco program from 1978 --- when the client was actually in Monaco!
