The University of Newcastle has been promoted new infrastructures. The new building located in Hunter street will create new opportunities and it will make the area more enjoyable and alive. In order to keep working on that, the project for the new library is a great option to give to Newcastle, a new public building. The main purpose of the project is regenerate and make the area more livable. The site, close to King Edwards Park, has one of the most beautiful views of Newcastle. This aspect is essential for the design to get the completely integration of the building with the rest of the suburb.
