A project for college, inspired by "One Human Minute" by Stanislav lem.
The assignment was to just think about what one human minute means and how we would interpret it the title.
As a group we quickly decided that we each would work on a piece that illustrates what happens worldwide simultaneously in one minute.
I came up with the Idea to (roughly) calculate how many lightbulbs are turned on at the same time: around six billions.
If all of them would be placed next to each other, they would span the world around 8 1/4 times.
Each little lightbulb in the illustration represents around 6,417,000 lightbulbs.
