The ITG is a mashup built with Google, and the UMN MapServer and using handmade HTML and CSS. Fitting into the existing site, maximizing the map area and leaving room for sponsors were the design goals.  Check it out at http://ofsc.mapbase.ca/viewer/ 

The mobile ITG is also a mashup built with a similar stack as the web version, and has similar functionality.  Simplicity, brand control and maximum map size were the design goals.  This app is available in the Google and Apple app stores.

Management tools allow folks at the association keep the trail statuses and other changes up to date themselves.  The management application is built with a host of open source software including MapServer Fusion and JxLib UI framework, both of which I also designed.

The entire service is hosted on MapBase (an early DM Solutions Service offering) which among other things provides an admin panel that that simplifies the process of publishing maps to the web.  I designed it to show the hierarchical structure of maps and give access to all the complexity of MapServer maps, while attempting to simplify some concepts. It was also built with the JxLib UI framework.
