In this project I decided to try to emulate Bob Ross's paintings in a digital setting, and then add some of his quotes over the top.
First I painted an all mighty mountain scene, a signature style of Bob's. The quote "We don't make mistakes, just happy accidents" was placed on this one.

Here is a closeup of the mountain.
Next is a deep forest scene done in a similar fashion. The quote "We need the dark to show the light" seemed perfect for a dark forest scene with a tree highlighted to convey the message.

The final piece is a wide open field in the middle of autumn. The quote "We artists are a different breed. We are a happy bunch" was placed in this composite because the warm colors convey a happy sense.

All paintings were done from scratch with only one texture overlay to help create the path in the third painting. This goes out in tribute to Bob Ross and his beautiful happy little trees and bushes he loved to paint.
