Wedding Invitation
Sunset colors in combination with the golden shimmer on Pacific waters served as inspiration for the color palette. Each of the 150 invitation sets were screen printed, cut and assembled by hand.

The paper and ink choices were critical in creating the mood for this project. The gold ink on paper with a sparkly, shimmery surface created texture and hues of orange created warmth.
Layering the paper elements created depth and storytelling as translation of a Hawaiian text is revealed as the band is slipped from the set (above).
Every effort to reduce paper waste and calculate accurate material needs was determined by a detailed plan for how each sheet of paper would be cut and used. This allowed the edges and scraps to be used for testing testing inks and making samples.
