Vadakke Manalath Govindan Nair popularly known as Kalamandalam Gopi is a Kathakali artist from Kerala, southern India, celebrated for his seminal contributions to the aesthetics and popularity of the classical dance-drama across the world. He is honoured with many of Awards & Recognitions. He received Sangeet Natak Akademi fellowship to Kathakali from President of India Pranab Mukherjee.
