CONCEPT －『 Sing a piece & Fold the time 』
As young Chinese designers, we see a luxurious shopping trend in the rapid developing society. Overpriced & poor-functional things are bought for personalization and showing off. Piecefold is a functional, unique, moderate fashion for young generation and shows their attitude to the life. Inspired by Japanese origami, wallets are made only by folding.

FEATURES
The paper we used is waterproof and tear-resistant. As you can see, the paper can remember the time which means the more often you use the wallet, the more memory traces on it. That's the UNIQUE story your own thing can tell and we try to encourage long-lasting product, instead of fast-consuming. Besides, all the product is made by folding that means HANDMADE and time-consuming. Every wallet is unique and has temperature.
BRANDING EXPERIMENTS
1. Washing Machine Test
Consumers always doubt the paper material. They thought that the wallet looks too vulnerable. So we made a test that told every body 『 It's ok to throw your wallet into washing machine 』
2. Wallets with Stories
We know our wallet can remember the times and have unique traces. So we collected the wallet which have been used for more than one year and record their owner's story. We made the stories into the postcard with QR code. Every one can read the story behind these old wallets.
3. Folding workshop
We encourage people do something themselves.
So we worked with TedxLujiazui and made a workshop to share the experience of folding.
ACHIEVEMENT
We sold out 2000+ wallets.
We were reported on Shanghai local newspaper.
We worked with TedxLujiazui / Tongji Venture Valley / Yangpu Innovation / Tongji University.
We had awesome journey that designed & made & branded our own product.
