Crab Totem was the first Totem that I didn't feel a particular affinity to or connection to - and so it has been an interesting challenge to create. I've always had a bit of a fear of crabs, I'm not much of a fan with anything with 8 legs really! But doing the research for this piece really showed me the beauty of these often tiny, often massive creatures. Now I live in a coastal location I see a lot more of them on the beaches and so it was time to create the Crab Totem!
Crab Totem also serves a dual purpose of being the first of the Astrological Totem's! What have I got myself in for!?
