The assignment was to create a packaging for the national product of the fictionary country that we were working on during second semester, that would identifies with country, protect, describe and promote the product.
As a confectionary, zefir can become a souvenir product with wide consumer audience and as a souvenir product it will have a mission to represent the country and promote country values outside its borders. This role should also be carried out by packaging and even the action in which product can be involved.
So the solution was to create packaging in the form of the chessboard and to offer the consumers to play one of the national mind games - checkers. Thus, zefir was made in checkers colors – black and white.
