Children's Book Design
University brief where I was asked to design the cover and two double page spreads for a children's book based on foraging.
My final outcome was aimed at young girls aged 5-7, I went for a fairy-tale story approach with stickers included as an extra activity. The story also reads as a rhyme.
There was a young girl called Flora, who was sent out to search for some fauna.
The flowers were pretty, the mushrooms not so.
It's a good job she had her mother to guide her.
Dandelions from the woods, crabs from the sea.
All of this food could feed her friends plus three.
She made crumbles and pies and ate 'til she was full too the eyes.
She wont have to eat again for a week.
