The activity zones consist of:- "The dam" a wooden deck at the moat water surface with water activities and learning- "Bermen" with cut stumps activity logs- "The fort deck" a free zone for game, play and stay- Ladders in the terrain- Pulse-ladders in various shapes, that detect your pulse rate, and reflect it in the tree lighting- Storm-ladders on the steap slope- "Storm-bridge" a moving bridge across the fortification moat.

The Activity area "Dronningens Bastion" (Queens Bastion) is part of a nationwide initiative: "En god omvej" (the good detour) developed by Realdania and "Lokale og anlægsfonden" in collaboration with KL and "Sund by netværk". "En god omvej" focuses on how the physical frame can create better conditions for the active and healthy everyday life focusing on movement in the open, right where you live or move in daily life. A total of 59 of the country's municipalities have participated in a course of development with support from Realdania and "Lokale og anlægsfonden focused on developing creative, physical actions that can invite city residents to play and move realized in relatively small budgets and simultaneously serve as inspiration for the longer-term strategic planning in relation to creating good framework for healthy and active residential neighborhoods and cities.
