I had so much fun with this drawing last semester. It was drawn in 3 or 4 sessions, 2 1/2 hours each. It's quite large, probably 40" x 28" ish. Mixed media, mostly pastels and gouache. The day the model came in, we were discussing how we wanted him to pose; position, clothes or nude etc ,and he was wearing a t-shirt for a benefit to save a library. The slogan was something like "Rock and Read" and it had the Dewey Decimal system number for the Rock 'n' Roll section in the library on the front and for some reason, I really responded to the numbers and wanted to incorporate them into my drawing.
