Project Description
Brief: Highlight the extraordinary in the every-day through the medium of photography.

Response: I have always been fascinated by light patterns and the way light can play with form and texture. For this project I chose to study the light patterns that move across the livestock and agricultural architecture inside a barn in the Black Mountains, Wales. As most people are aware, sheep are very common in Wales and definitely considered 'every-day' - so they made the perfect subject matter for this project.

Outcome: Using my Canon AE-1 35mm film camera loaded with Ilford Black & White film, I spent a day photographing the changing light patterns in the Black Mountains barn which resulted in these 9 final images.
