Kids and iPads: Parenting Tips

I made this series because of my young daughter. She already loves to play with the iPad and I felt a bit lost on the matter. I did some online research and made GIFs with tips on how to handle your kid concerning its activities on the iPad.

1: Instead of using the iPad to keep your kid occupied, make it a deliberate part of the upbringing.

2: The use of the iPad is not just a technological matter: prepare your kids on the digital world they enter and participate in.
3: More important than how long they spend time on the iPad is what they do in that period of time.
4: Do your homework: Look for appropriate apps matching your kids age. Check apps regularly and update if necessary.
5: Don't let your kid use the iPad alone (all of the time): do it together, be involved in your kids activities.
6: Set clear rules and expectations. For example, make use of standard moments in time.
7: Limit the iPad time, ensure your kid has time for other activities too.
