DSK Shivajians has earned a niche amongst football enthusiasts in Maharashtra. The club was established in 1987 dominating all major tournaments in Pune and other parts of Maharashtra. They are the current champions of the Pune Super Division league and now recently promoted to India’s topflight domestic league - The Hero I-League.
In search of the club insignia
`We dug deep into the history of the club through interviews and tracked back to their early days when the club would train for the first time together at the COEP (College of Engineering, Pune) grounds. One of Pune’s oldest educational institutes located in Shivajinagar - the birthplace and reason behind the name “Shivajians”. We used the iconic COEP tower as the primary insignia of the club crest while retaining certain elements from their old identity.
