    The Christchurch Centre of Contemporary Art (CoCA), was relaunched in February 2016 after five years of closure following the earthquakes. Strategy was tasked with bringing their identity to life, we were given the job of writing and designing a fundraising document to help them secure their financial future. Our concept was all about the emergence of a vital new gallery. We conveyed this concept through use of a discreet black cover with a pop of yellow peeking out – offering the promise of something new and exciting inside. This sense of surprise is continued throughout the book with shortcut yellow pages marking sections of the story. Black foils on the front and reverse cover help create a sense of intrigue. These blocks became part of the gallery’s identity tool kit and were saved for use across other executions. Read Less
