THE MEN OF THE LONG HAUL
The Men of the Long Haul is a series of portraits of Pakistani truck drivers that often travel distances of thousands of miles from home, braving treacherous trails for days, weeks or even months on end.
To cope with their solitude on the road, they find solace in beautifying their trucks, taking great pride in having the colours, designs, and decorations, serve as a reminder of home.
Internationally acclaimed photographer Sapna Khan is currently based in Lahore, Pakistan, and can be contacted for photography commissions and commercial and corporate photography projects in Pakistan and beyond.
