P U L S E : 06.12.2016 — Rocked by the inhumanity so evident, and all the while trying to believe and know that compassion and loving kindness are intrinsic to human nature. There are two principle currents flowing in this piece, one just flows, not totally harmonious, but true to itself, while the other is fragmenting what is in its path. The work is an amalgam of atoms and bits, even an extraction from woven strips of tree bark, (that felt right because it seemed to reach into our DNA in looking for common ground.
