In a team student project for Ethics of Science and Technology at Interactive Media Systems degree course at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences the energy situation of foreign countries should be depicted, in cooperation with e-transform. A reference to the "German Energiewende" should be recognizable.

The interactive website prototype should help users to compare different countries by providing relative numbers and individual presentations. This should also serve to better understand the German situation in comparison. The focus of the world energy map was on simple touch-friendly handling as well as easy-to-understand and, above all, comparable content.

For this prototype, only three countries were initially installed.

The speech bubbles with statements of the individual countries should incite the users to click
To compare different countries, the users have to drag and drop them into the comparison area
The comparison page shows absolute and relative numbers to provide a realistic comparison
All country pages have an identical structure in order to ensure comparability
It is easy to switch between the comparison page and the country pages
The menu is closed by default
