University project: working in groups to create a marketing campaign for the University of Reading, aiming to make the town of Reading appeal to new students. A core aspect of the brief was that we kept within the University's brand guidelines. We then pitched our idea to an audience which included a member of the University's marketing team. 

Our idea was to create a competition that would take place on social media, encouraging Open Day visitors to share their experience in Reading on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with '#checkthis'. Winners would be picked at random from those who entered, and the prize would be £500 worth of vouchers for Reading's main shopping attraction – The Oracle. We created a leaflet that would fit inside the existing prospectus and a promotional video both encouraging people to get to know Reading and take part in the competition.
