Personal Illustration Work - 2016
In July, I began to expand on my refreshed illustration style.
I pushed my style further, working the new style of drawing and colouring into the backgrounds.
I also worked on creating full figure and action shots, giving the characters a location and environment.
I also reworked my line weights, to give the characters more detailing and a sense of force and weight.
"I Am The Master" - based on Darth Vader from Star Wars.
"Optic Blast" - based on the 1990s look and design of the mutant hero Cyclops
from the X-Men comics and animated series.
"ZZZ" - illustration on the character Jigglypuff from the smash hit app Pokemon Go.
"Invincible" - based on Marvel Comics' Iron Man and his look from the 2015 comic book series.
"Boys In Blue 1" - based upon the Dublin Senior Gaelic footballer Bernard Brogan.
"Vengeance" - an illustration to celebrate the arrival of Ghost Rider to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"Man of Evil" - based on the character Cyborg Superman from
the acclaimed DC Comics story 'Death and Return of Superman'
