This was one of the events that I was most looking forward to in 2016. The Indy Car series hasn't been at Road America in almost 8 years and this weekend was its homecoming. I grew up with Indy Cars racing at Road America and I was very upset when the series no longer ran at Road America, but this year the series finally came back and it was an awesome weekend. Along with Indy Car there was also the The Pirelli World Challenge which included many exotic sports cars such as Bentley, Mclaren, Porsche, Audi, Nissan, etc. I spent Thursday through Sunday at the track and I would get out there at 8am and stay till 4-5pm each day. I took so many pictures it that I had to narrow it down to a select few. Also this weekend was important to me because this was my first big weekend out at the track with my new camera. Before this weekend I didn't really have much practice with motorsport photography so I am very proud of how my pictures turned out. Here are some of my favorite ones from this fun-filled weekend.
