This is our final project of school workshop Various small books hold by Stefano Graziani. Heading theme of the workshop was the gap between Ground and Undergroud of Urbino, where ground stands for the very well known part of the city, underground could be everything that contaminates the ground. Somehow fascinated by light tags, we've choosen to project images inside and outside the rinascimental buildings of Urbino. Since we needed a projector to take out at night without cables, we build a sort of magic lantern out of cardboard. We've thought that the perfect link between ground and underground were famous pictures related to the history of Urbino. So, we've sneaked out at night searching for the right spots, waiting for the light to paint the walls.
