After studying the architecture of Rem Koolhaus and other deconstructivist architecture, I thought about what processes these architects were employing to arrive at the forms that they did. I noticed they often took archetypal forms and applied destructive processes to them. As an exercise, I took the archetypal birdhouse and tried many processes through sketch exploration. Finally, I popped it like popcorn.
