Orr & Reno is a well known law firm with many highly regarded attorneys specializing in a range of practice areas. As the lead creative for the website redesign, my task was to give the firm a “brand refresh.” This custom website design, built on the WordPress platform, incorporates a full width responsive grid.
The home page has a number of dynamic areas. The "About the Firm” section is easy to update and can be used for any current announcement. The “News” section features the most recent news post. "Practices" provides a direct link to the practice page listing. The “Featured Practice Area (Energy Law)” window can display one static image and a link, or can cycle through several different images on a loop. The “Our People” section features a different attorney each time the page is refreshed.
Secondary pages contain both right and left sidebar options. The sidebars are modular and float down the page with the user as they scroll. The "Practices" sidebar contains attorney photos which link to their profiles and credentials. The "Our People" and individual attorney sidebars contain links to relevant practice areas.
A megamenu (such as this one - showing “Practices”) appears when there are substantial sub-pages.
