The Solution:
After contacting the studio I very much admire - Studio Small - for an interview, I decided to play on the 'small' in their name and create a smaller than average publication. This also sits nicely with what they say on their website: "you don't have to be big to be clever". In order to combine images of their work successfully I stuck to an ordered and simplistic style.
